1. Pops Fernandez files raps vs event organizer in Cebu

Singer-actress Cielito Pops Fernandez and Patricia Jacqueline Portillo, production manager of AVL Events International, Inc. (ALV) filed a complaint for grave threats, unjust vexation, and grave slander against Jeffrey Serrano at the Mandaue City Prosecution?s Office yesterday.

Serrano, who lives in Makati City, is an associate of producer Gail Antonette Soco. Soco had an entertainment contract with AVL, where complainant Fernandez is one of the talents.

Fernandez was supposed to perform in a concert dubbed as Divalicious last May 30, at the Mandaue Cultural and Sports Complex in Mandaue City.

2. Pinay singer Decena fights for rights after losing job in UK

Filipina semi-finalist for the hit UK show "Britain's Got Talent" (BGT) Madonna Decena is fighting for her rights after losing her job and permit to work in the United Kingdom.

The singer reported to the Philippine Embassy and the Labor Attaché based in the United Kingdom that her talent manager Steve Jones of Steve Jones Entertainments Ltd. violated her work contract.

In an exclusive interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Reynaldo Decena, father of Madonna said that his daughter's move stemmed from Jones' action and decision not to give her wages. Jones claimed that Madonna is not earning a lot because there were no shows for her.
