1. David Archuleta watches Charice show at gay club

MANILA, Philippines �?? Did Filipino singing sensation Charice get �??American Idol�?� finalist David Archuleta in trouble?

The online community is now abuzz over Archuleta�??s night out at Club 57, a popular gay club in New York City in the United States, on April 17. Gay rumors have hounded the American singer since he was spotted at the club.

In his Twitter page,  Archuleta said he was at Club 57 to show his support for his Filipino friend, Charice.

The 17-year-old Filipino songstress performed �??Pyramid,�?� her current hit single, and �??I Will Survive,�?� but Archuleta did not sing, confirmed Charice�??s mom, Raquel.

2. MYX bares this year's Music Awards nominees

MANILA, Philippines - Voting is officially on! The Myx Music Awards (MMA) finally announced this year�??s nominees in over 19 categories, including favorite artist, favorite group and favorite music video.

The MMA 2010 nomination night also featured rocking performances by some of the country�??s top music artists. The event was hosted by homegrown Myx VJs Robi, Bianca, Chino, Janine and Nel.

Last year�??s MMA favorite group award, 6cyclemind, opened the night with its hit song �??Kasalanan�?� followed by the up-and-coming rock band and favorite new artist nominee Letter Day Story. Both bands featured popular rapper Gloc-9, who is nominated in 6 categories.

Hale also brought the house down with its hit song �??Bahay Kubo,�?� which is nominated in the favorite music video category. Hale lead vocalist Champ hopes to win an award this year. If Hale gets lucky, this will be its first MMA victory.

Champ also proudly talked about his band's experience while shooting Hale�??s music video with actress Heart Evangelista, who is a nominee in the favorite guest appearance in a music video category.

Well at first pressured kasi first time kong gagawa ng mga rock songs. First time ko din gumawa ng live album. Ginawa talaga namin yung album na ?yun talagang dire-diretso.Parang isang show. Nakakapagod. Nakakahingal. Pero sobra. Sobrang nag-enjoy ako. As much as possible ?di ba perfect talaga yung mangyayari?

5. Akon claims not knowing his true age

Even though Akon has a birth certificate, he says his age is still a mystery ? and he'd rather keep it that way.

"All it's going to do is depress me," he told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "I don't want to know I'm getting older. Then I'll start to think about getting checkups and insurance. I don't want that."
